Archaea Intervention Needed
Day 1 about to close for the Women
leaving only the 10K with Jenna Hutchins the most likely to advance.

Overall, today was a very good day as we saw a number of great performances.

Shout out to Jaslyn Gardner who ran an all conditions best time of 11.03 in the 100m and advanced to the Quarterfinals before Eugene.
Rebekah Erikson advanced to Eugene by clearing 4.3 m in the pole vault, and really jumped sharp. Her teammate deserves credit for clearing 4.2 m, her personal best, and just missed advancing finishing in 14th.

Riley Chamberlain finished in a comfortable 1500 of 4:14, and advanced to the Quarters on Saturday.

Sami Oblad ran a PB in the 400m with a school record of 52.41, showing significant improvement. Kudos to her. She will race Saturday against a stacked field.

Kyrstie Solomon advanced in a typically strong event as the only 800m runner to race Saturday.

Annalise Hart advanced to Saturday in a comfortable 400mH at 57.59, and will face a very competitive field.

Gretchen Hoekstre had a season's best throw in the shotput, and bowed out.

Overall, the women performed at a high level and many are poised to advance to Eugene.

Well done, Ladies.
