I don't feel any confidence in Lanier making BYU his home just because there really is no connection and he has ample suitors. I don't remember us landing such a recruit in his situation. We get those that are promising (the old "diamond in the rough" cliché) , but really haven't yet made a name for themselves (the Barcellos, Robinsons, Watermans, etc.), but are above average players. This is a guy that is already there. He'd have to lose the goatee. He sounds religious. He keeps tweeting scriptures.
