For weight loss or diabetes?
Most insurance companies approve Ozempic or Mounjaro for Type-2 diabetes, but won't pay for it for only weight loss. Technically, weight loss is off label for these drugs.
Wegovy is approved for weight loss, but only for BMI > 30, so anything under that is technically off-label.
