I had been out of town for 3 of the last 4 weeks and during this time the following appliances died.

Dishwasher
Clothes washer
AC Unit (4 ton)

Not unit the end of my absence when the AC unit died was I informed of the other issues. To spice it up a bit, my wife was having an event at our home and was stressed about having no AC. I came home a day earlier and found someone to replace the AC condenser unit same day. In the past when the AC condenser compressor died, I just replaced the compressor. This time the compressor was $200 less than an entire new unit, and easier to install. Thus, a new unit.

This makes for a very expensive weekend.

It often feels like just when you get some breathing room, the life says Not So Fast.
