Yes, I am a geek, and I find these test launches to be thrilling. Seeing the plasma burn on reentry on the last flight was an open mouth moment. 100 tons to LEO is incredible, that the rocket is stainless steel and will be landing vertically is beyond incredible.

Elon Musk is a weirdo, and it would be great if he would shut his mouth more often. But for all but the cynics, cranks and ill-informed, his company's success in accessing space is truly astonishing.
