Any interference was negligible, at best. And with the Infield Fly Rule,
the interference didn't affect the ability to catch the fly since catching it wasn't even a thing.

And the player easily got to the ball and actually made the catch with plenty of time to spare. There was no play on the runner since he was back on the base.

Mind boggling.
