Lots of teams would go for two with a few seconds left and hope for a rebound on a miss. Mavs know they have a killer so just give him the ball, get the switch on Rudy, and go dancing.

There is an argument to be made that the Wolves should have gone smaller and kept Rudy off the floor. Everyone knew what was gonna happen. Rudy is better on the perimeter now, but there are certainly other Wolves players I’d want in that position.
