and the weather never bothered me until I hit my mid 40s. I did like Louisiana and Florida. I didn't hate hot and humid. My wife survived due to Air Conditioning.

We need to figure out where to go to retire. We are considering AZ (wife lived there until she was 10), intrigued by Texas, we like Florida, and I hear good things about areas in Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Georgia. We are fairly adaptable but would like decent weather most of the year.
