Rangers were up 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh. 3-2 count on Julien. Low pitch that barely scrapes the bat of Julien but Julien thinks it’s a ball so he begins to take his base. The umpire calls him back and says it’s a foul tip into the glove of Rangers catcher Heim. That means he struck out. Twins dugout doesn’t like the call and argues it. The Ump then changes to call to ball 4 and lets Julien take his base. You can’t just change the call because the dugout didn’t like it. I’m not sure if that’s reviewable but it’s bad. Bochy is mad (rightfully so) and argues the call. He’s immediately tossed. Did almost nothing and they tossed him. Terrible

I might be biased cause I’m a rangers fan but officiating in the MLB has been awful. The white Sox infield pop fly fiasco on Thursday. Angel Hernandez is a joke of an ump. Rob Manfred needs to take care of this. It’s out of control
