and OU is still hosting a regional. obviously would’ve preferred to win, but it didn’t really matter. and the format
was awful. Im pretty sure the SEC does it too. and it’s awful for them as well.
rewarding teams for losing early and punishing teams for winning is a bad tournament. either make it single elimination or double elimination. trying to have both is dumb.
