The article is about the highest rated transfers to end up at G5 schools. It has nothing to do with where they came from.
For the last decade, I've thought the complaints about being called G5 were ridiculous ("We're not G5. We're independent. But only because we don't have any invite from a P5. Same story as Army or UConn") when we were functionally G5
But this one is actually egregious, because we're clearly in the P5 now. And it's worth noting that they don't list UCF, Houston, or even SMU as a G5 (all three also had one or more of the top transfer portal recruits - those three schools actually combined for 10 of the top 270 portal additions).
This one is absolutely is mistake and oversight on BYU
