Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it), the competition BYU faces in conference play does not provide a good gauge for BYU athletics. The Cougars run the table two seasons in a row with two miracle wins over Utah to get that mark and need yet another miracle to beat a 6 seed PAC-10 team.

My gut tells me if BYU were in a BCS conference in football/basketball, they would rarely break the top 25.
