I'm thinking I'm going to try to see if I could save a specific amount of money over the next 12 months. I know I'll still need to take a little time off work to stay sane. Previous vacation plans were more along the lines of visiting a friend living in Hawaii, but I should probably scale back on that idea.

I'm wondering if you can help me with vacation ideas to mull over and plan in its stead. In terms of cost, I'm looking for vacations that would cost less than driving to Disneyland and spending a few days there. I'm not opposed to camping, but assume I'd have to buy gear for just about anything you propose.

Oh, my one vacation criteria (lavish or frugal): warmer than here (SL Valley).
