Unlikely.
Single-season receiving yards: 1538:
VERY unlikely. Consider that the next-closest receiver in BYU history had just 1241 yards, and only 15 players have broken the 1000-yard mark in 30+ years of pass-heavy offense. I think MJ COULD break the 1,000-yard mark, but I don't foresee him even glimpsing the 1500-yard mark.

Career receiving yards: 3,255:
In order to break this, he'll have to average 903 yards in each of the next three years. There have been exactly 21 SEASONS in BYU history in which a receiver has topped that mark. NO player has EVER topped that mark three times, while Collie, Chris Smith, Eric Drage, Phil Odle, and Gordon Hudson are the ONLY players to ever do it TWICE. In short, assuming MJ is healthy every year (a HUGE assumption), he COULD approach this number, but the chances are rather slim.

Career TD: 30
Jacobson has 27 to go, or 9 per year. Drage had 29, Odle had 25, Bellini had 23, Koz had 23, Hudson had 22, and Mike Chronister had 21. There's been 17 single seasons where receivers catch 9 or more TD's. Of the receiving records, I'd give the highest chance of surpassing the mark to this one.

Career Receptions: 215
Only one other receiver caught more than 200 passes (Bellini). This one is pretty doubtful as well. He'll have to average 63 the next three years to surpass it. 14 times in a single season has a BYU receiver surpassed that mark.

Single-season TD: 15
He's only tied on this one, and there's been the following TD's scored in a single season (receiving): 15 (twice), 14, 13, 12 (twice), 11 (thrice), 10 (4x). BYU's O is ideally predicated on spreading the ball around. I just don't see this happening again.

Single-season receptions: 106
After Collie's 106, there's one season of 100 (Jay Miller), and the next is 91 (Reno Mahe). Again, with BYU's propensity for spreading the ball around, I don't see this happening.

MWC Records:
Single-season Most 100-yard games: 11
Most 100-yard games: 17
Consecutive 100-yard games: 11
Receiving yards for a Junior: 1538
All-purpose yards as a junior: 2112
Receiving TD's in a season: 10

None of these are particularly likely.

In short, while I think MJ will be a very good receiver, I just don't think he'll even sniff most of these records even if he is healthy the next three straight years.
