Unfortunately the mods are still being stingy with their credit card info, so TNT had to continue his bike trek around town to find a Phil Steele college football preview. After riding his bike to the other side of the valley, he did find some at one of the Barnes and Noble stores.

For those of you who have never read a Phil Steele preview, needless to say it is heavy reading. It would take a month to read the whole magazine (just the way TNT likes 'em!). But here are some of the highlights.

He ranks BYU 29th to start the season.

Steele has an Independence preview with an all-Independence first and second team. On the first team he lists Jake, JJ, Hansen, Reynolds, Ogletree, Hoffman (KR), and JD (PR).

Phil feels that BYU is solid everywhere but in the secondary. He feels this is the only positional grouping question mark.

He feels like BYU has a challenge with all of the tough games on the road, but feels the Cougs will win most of them.

He has a list of the newcomers to the team that includes RMs. Well done!
