From what I've been told, it isn't Joe, it's more Jennifer
Joe understands the deal, having lived it himself. He seems to understand that there are a bunch of moving parts that go into who plays and who doesn't and why.

Coach Lad at DLS isn't going to bow to anybody, he's made DLS what it is by preaching brotherhood first and no one player is more important than any other. Interestingly, you'd think that a program like DLS would be placing a number of D1 kids in quality programs every year, but they don't. They usually have a few that get some attention and some press, but for the most part DLS is made up of overachievers that play as a unit. DLS isn't a highlight film type of team, they just grind it out with very few mistakes and excellent technique.

This is an aside, and has no bearing on anything.... but I attended a couple of DLS games when Montana was there, and for heaven's sake his mother prowled the sidelines with a camera wearing the tightest pair of jeans and turtleneck I've ever seen. A few of us old ugly people in the stands thought it was a bit much for a HS game. Apparently that didn't work on Lad either...
