Now imagine the opposite...

a skeletal figure with a shirt that read, "I beat obesity" Why is one funny, but the other not? Each is an extreme of the same spectrum playing off the other. For whatever reason, we don't seem to recognize obesity for the eating disorder that it is and treat it accordingly.
