Bronco's success more closely resembles what Dave Rose has done with BYU basketball. He has put a consistent winner on the court, but has struggled to have a "great" season.
Jimmer's senior year was close to being great, but they ended up losing a player and got knocked out in the sweet 16. Bronco has had multiple seasons that, just like Jimmer's senior year, were on the cusp of being great, but had unfortunate bounces or injuries at inopportune times that derailed things. Of course, coaching miscues by both Rose and Bronco could also be pointed out in these seasons, if you look closely enough.
I guess I just don't see much difference between what Rose has put on the court over the past 10 years and what Bronco has put on the field over the past 10 years.
