We don't understand Church administration nor do we have any idea of the complexities and limitations associated with BYU coaching. As there is constant carping on many facets of Church administration, so too there is constant carping on BYU football. In both cases, we who carp do not see things as they really are.

I don't think the Board of Trustees is any more content with mediocrity than are members of CB. The trick lies in accepting the complexities/limitations and defining mediocrity within those confines.
