interesting than they were in the MWC days. They started off not so great, but are now spectacular. I don't think the home schedule will ever be as good as the away schedule. That being said, we have a great home schedule this year (probably better than most years in the MWC). Toledo is as good or better than half the old MWC. SUU is definitely better than the old Wyo or UNM programs were that we played against. UMass is also on par with any of the middling MWC programs of old.

Really, the only thing I haven't liked about Independence have been the string of losses to Utah. I think that was a Mendenhall problem more than it was a BYU/Indy problem. If we'd won half those games (or even slightly less than half) against Utah, I think nearly all fans would be thrilled with Independence.
