I actually sort of agree. Although I don't think it's unreasonable to hold out..
... hope at least until the Big-12 officially expands and includes someone other than BYU. There is still plenty of reason to be optimistic that BYU will be included when the Big-12 gets around to finally expand.
That said, I agree that BYU will be in a fine-enough position as an independent. Especially if the Big-12 only goes with an 8-game conference schedule.
