capable of making a non-emotional business decision to advocate BYU for the conference. Quite frankly, Houston in the Big 12 is very bad for TCU and everyone else in the Big 12. Take UT's and TT's support of Houston with a grain of salt. Of course one Texas governmental institution would pay lip service of support for another - after all, UT & TT have governmental overlords.
Having said the above, I would be very surprised if TCU makes a public declaration of support until after it's a done deal. If and when TCU's president or AD speak highly of BYU in a public way - IMO it means that BYU will get an invite.
