If I were a hot-shot QB, I would play for 1 of 4 schools
BYU (obviously)
Ohio State (my 2nd favorite team)
and LSU or Bama
You can say 'oh, but you'll never play' but could you imagine how good those schools would be with a semi-decent QB?
LSU in 2011 started Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson. They had the best regular season of any team in the last 25 years, and made the NCG. But, because they had no QB, got shut down. Give LSU a RGIII or Deshaun Watson type QB that year and they go down in history as the best college football team of all time.
a 5* prospect goes to the schools with the intent to start, and if you're a great QB, you would. Could you imagine if Chad Kelly played for Bama instead of Ole Miss... lol Bama would be unbeatable
Cooper Bateman was just... frankly not that good.
