...had room to improve. I think both Mika and Childs felt like they could rely on their shot blocking to make up for not fighting for position down low. Shaw seems to get a little intimidated and pushed around too easily, Childs frequently looked lost trying to defend the PNR and was slow and out of position to switch to the roller or defend the ball handler (whatever the call was). Even late in the year against St Mary's this was happening and it was pretty disappointing to see there wasn't much improvement after 30ish games. It left the feeling that defense hadn't been a priority all season (or at least it wasn't for some guys).
