Going Small? Is this from Practice reports?
I understand that fans keep saying that. But, as I have said multiple times, this roster construction is not made for playing small ball. We have 6 of our 13 scholarships guys who are "Bigs". If you think BYU is playing small with someone like Seljaas at the 4, then we will only have 7 guys for those first 4 spots. That includes true freshman like Bergersen who just doesn't seem ready for a major role right now.

So for me, if you have Worthington, Nixon, Shaw, and Andrus on scholarship in addition to Childs and Dastrup, you cannot suddenly decide you are playing 4 guards. BYU doesn't have the bodies for that. If the Coaching staff really wanted to go smaller, then Shaw and Worthington should have been upperclassmen that were encouraged to move on and bring in some versatile wing transfers.
