Adam Carolla has some interesting ideas about this one

He's also suggested that forced pairing of an overweight person with a thin person or group of thin people.
If three fatties go out together for lunch, they'll feel comfortable stuffing their faces.
If one of those fatties goes to lunch with a thin person, it's possible that he or she will think twice before finishing lunch with a Twinkie.
