Anyone can join. It's about camraderie my friend.
I think I know where you are going with this, but I could be wrong. I am definitely not trying to make this a group about being gay - it is all about the fact that we love BYU sports and want to feel camraderie with others. I do want you to know that my sexuality is ABSOLUTELY not the defining attribute of who I am. Some gay people do define themselves as gay, and everything else is less significant. As for me, I am a father, son, brother, partner, friend, employee, American, and all-around decent guy who happens to be gay. My group is based way more on being a fan of BYU than it is about being gay, but that is one thing we have in common and it helps us to support each other. I hope you can understand that. Besides, no straight person would ever be excluded if they want to be a member....do you want to join?
