He gets far to little credit at the U. Of course Utah used BYU as a measuring stick because it was the biggest game they played each year. Utah is not BYUs measuring stick. Utah is still little brother to BYU, just not a little as in the past. If you look at any competitive rivalry you will find streaks similar to what Utah is on now. It those games had all been blowouts like in the Lavell years I would be concerned. If Utah had awesome seasons year in and year out I would be concerned. But since they are all close games that mostly turned on a few lucky plays I am not going to abandon ship. I would much rather be 10-2 with a loss to Utah than 5-7 with a win over them.
