doesn't really know of it. I know that there have been a few players that have mentioned it, and there are undoubtedly a few local kids influenced by it. But not many and I cant think of any that were actually BYU bound. I have however heard of many BYU and Utah players say that they did not even realize BYU and Utah were rivals until they got to the school. Alex Smith was one.

I think Utah in the PAC will have a big effect until they are cemented in their WSU status. But Utah and BYU have both had better recruiting classes over the past few years than they ever did in the past. I think one of the big things is that the local kids that would not go to BYU but would go elsewhere are now staying at home because Utah is better.
