Funny, I actually know some people at the company he works for...Pearson plc. I did some outside counsel work with some of their in-house guys in the US and London. (They have been involved in some pretty interesting copyright cases in the last several years.) I doubt the guy has been running bots...but the contest managers seem to believe that someone was doing something sufficient to warrant changing the contest mid-stream not once but twice. They probably have well over a million in sunk cost just in the licensing and IT support alone. Big companies don't like it when people mess with their 7-figure investments.

Even if he isn't running bots, which is likely, I am sure his managers would love to now why he is spending his days updating Bisonville and voting in some stupid fan contest and not working. I certainly hope he wasn't doing anything wasteful with work computers. That would go over like a lead balloon...might be time to drop a line to some old friends and find out who is in charge of the HR department in Lawrence KS to give them a heads up on some potential liabilities among their employees...interesting...I guess the take home message is that if you are going to troll people with claims of fraudulent and criminal behavior against a large corporation with millions of dollars of sunk costs...just saying, not a smart move.
