Wow! You're making me feel better about myself.
When we drove 3 days to Med school, I realized on day 2 of the drive that I had gotten wards mixed up and requested move-in help from the wrong ward.

I immediately called and tried to remedy the situation, but ended up only getting ahold of the EQP about fifteen hours before we got there at 3pm. . .my attitude was "I would appreciate help, but if it's not possible, I totally understand." The EQP and 1st counselor showed up 1 hour into the move in and worked like beasts. We finished it in 1.5 more hours and they were home for dinner. That EQP knew that he owned me from then on. Serious mad respect.

I've been in on some bad moves (flooded hoarder storage units, anyone?) but the one that always seems to irk me are the people that follow you around complaining that you aren't being careful enough with their stuff. Like we weren't doing our absolute best already. We moved one person in with *seriously* nice stuff. Original oil paintings, stainless steel brand new appliances (why didn't the moving guys drag this up your 3-story town home?), and a SAFE. If you can afford a $10,000 painting (how do I know? He told EVERYONE who would listen), you can afford insured movers.
