Football is entertainment. I choose to spend my entertainment dollars on the things I find most entertaining. If the schedule is weak or the team is bad, the games aren't particularly entertaining and my time and dollars will be spent elsewhere, especially considering the fact that I can get 90% of what entertainment is provided by the game for free in HD. Some people act like they are somehow obligated to support the team at all times and at all costs, even when there are places they would rather be/spend. That is weird.
