why wouldn't I want to also go to the games, assuming I live close enough and have the means?

I still recognize it's not a great schedule, but I also recognize it won't always be that way.

I grew up going to those horrible WAC games. But, hey...great football. Entertaining. Great atmosphere. I'm a fan because I went to the games, not because my old man sat me on the couch on Saturdays.

I want to give my kids that experience. Plus, if it's a patsy game and my kids are struggling, I can leave early without missing anything big.
