dumb rules like not giving them a stipend like they used to get in the '70s, but not other subset of college kids gets anywhere close to what they get. Yes, coaches salaries are out of site, but that happens to all professions at some point in history. You can't pay them, that is the most uneducated argument in the world. If you do, then you have to make every benefit taxable and open to all other employees of the same class. I like where the BIG 10 is headed with giving them an education, taking care of medical and food....but it shouldn't go any further. The kids aren't famous when they get to the schools, the schools make them famous.
