I got shingles when I was 13

I remember having one sleepless night and then the next day seeing a dermatologist. It took about a week for the rashes/bumps to go away with medication. After that I read up on it and I am very glad that I had it when I was young. Sounds like it can be extremely painful for elderly folks.
