for marching bands. Your attitude suggests a lack of appreciation for marching bands in general. BYU isn't all that different from any other marching band, they just lack the tradition and respect by their fanbase that other bands enjoy. That said, sure they could be a bit more contemporary and not so stuck in west-side-story-land. But I'd rather have a more traditional approach, look, feel than the offensive, undisciplined approach of Stanford. Look to TBDBITL for your example, not to Stanford.
