I mean, according to uf.n and Ute trolls across the internet, the only reason he was coming to BYU (aside from the improper and illegal recruiting by BYU and its field agents, of course), is that he couldn't cut it in the mighty Pac-12 and had to go to a "mid-major" in order to get playing time.

Although since the Utes "got 'er done" last year, Standford is now officially a step down from Utah, so maybe they are right.
