in WVA. We found the owners/dog rescuers who said they would be happy to give him to a good home.
He's just a puppy, but aside from the occasional chewing and "accidents" in the house has been a delight. I actually look forward to coming home and seeing him every day.
I had always heard that mixed breed dogs are often more intelligent than pure breeds. Our other dogs have always been pure breeds. This dog (a german shepherd mix of some sort) is undoubtedly the smartest dog we've ever had. That is not saying much though. We are convinced our current dog has some type of brain damage. He really is not very smart. Happy, but dull. Maybe should have named him "Yewt" or something like that.
