We are usually a version or 2 behind and sometimes even skip a version. Security and patch levels have to reach certain levels and tested in the labs for a long time before they pull the trigger.

And bringing in personal equipment is frowned upon and if you do they have to encrypt your drives with their software and load their versions and receive their updates, etc.

I kind of hate it.

Ability to have a surface type product in our company is probably another 2-5 years away.....
