I have always preferred LDS apps on my phone over my iPad or Surface. The only App I ever used on the iPad that doesn't have an equal or better counterpart on at least one of my phone or Surface is Plants v Zombies. I do have it on my phone, but the tablet form factor is better for that game and it isn't available on the Surface.

If you are thinking about a Surface, there are likely going to be one thing or another that you would miss coming from other devices. The question is: is it worth it? Is it worth being able to replace your laptop + tablet with one device? Is it worth it for the stylus and note taking capabilities? Is it worth it for the ability to not have to sync everything you do between devices? Is it worth it being able to run full productivity software on this self-same device?

For me, the answer is pretty clear.
