I really like your thought, there is a huge amount of money left on the table...
I mean, give the people what they want....RIGHT...
What if some modern day football Julies Caesar rallied the "left over" bowls to form an 8 team playoff... using the teams not selected to the "BCS Playoff" (I'll call it that just for fun) and boom, that could be a recipe to eventually take over and create a new empire....
But is that really what we want? It would end up sending fewer teams to bowl games among surly many other things... The current system may work out pretty well..
