That is victim blaming and where I think there is an example of rape culture. I'm not going so far as saying that there is sexual harassment or victimizing happening at these events, but if there is the blame needs to be placed on the right person.

By the way, I'll go ahead and agree with you that there are other problems at play here with the promoters of the event and in the comic book industry.
