My point is simply, athletes scholarships are not free

Neither are pro contracts given for free, you are a peice of meat, and as soon as a school or team can't benifit or make money off you, you are discarded. Regardless if your 4 years are up or your nfl contract is up.

It's not slavery obviously, but it's not free and it's not easy nor is it comparable to any other profession in my opinion.
