Laramie Wyoming. Wow. The stereotypes are mostly true. Very backwards, hillbilly, drunk, rednecks that love to both figuratively and literally hurl piss at BYU fans. They are baaaaadddd.
Rice Eccles Stadium. It's really bad. Not all the fans, but unfortunately enough of the outspoken, mormon hating, drunk turds make a point to seek out BYU fans and scream all sorts of vile stuff at them to somehow make themselves feel better. I went to the last BYU vs Utah game at RES and it was embarrassing for the Ute fans. I was also incredibly sad that so many ALUF's around me did nothing to tell the morons to shut their pie holes. I am a very mellow and respectful fan when I am in a visiting stadium. I really am. I have no reason to be a loud mouth idiot. It adds nothing to the experience for me. I'm there to watch the game and nothing I do will influence the outcome on the field, so I don't feel the need to taunt or mock the opposing fans. But despite my calm and cool demeanor, I had Ute fans come running from several rows down at the end of the game to yell at me 6 inches from my face. Such a shame. Every other game will be fine for you. Boise State fans for the most part are cool and will be nice to you. Texas fans are beyond friendly and will treat you like gold.
