Thats part of coaching and a good thing to me. I coach a kid who has poor
technique but by virtue of being the best athlete on the field he gets away with it, scoring many touchdowns. (9 year olds so its not like I'm a serious coach)

I've had to explain to him that he wont always be the fastest most agile kid and that technique matters as you play better and better competition. Honestlly I think it is good teaching practice if Hill did that --- results matter but if those results could come more frequently through better technique then a coach should point that out. (now how Jaime Hill pointed that out I have no idea)
