I agree to an extent. Some coaches do not connect with their
players. Does it make them a bad coach? No, just different (thinking of Mike Leach for instance). Obviously there was a lot more going on there than this singular incident. I don't find what Hill did as "wrong" in any way shape or form, but I do feel like it got blown out of proportion by Logan. For some players de-emphasizing a mistake works and for some it doesn't. What if he has done the same thing multiple times (and we don't know the whole story)? You can't just "brush" off the mistake and when it will cost your team a game in the future. He was trying to teach him what he should properly do, albeit he wasn't very tactful at doing so, but it doesn't give the player the right to completely disrespect the coach. I'll admit it's a very fine line and one that is difficult for coaches to find the balance with. No one ever said that coaching was easy. I do agree with the fact that there were some strange things going on while he was here and that he was not the right guy for the job.
