When I was at BYU since I had come from another state I wanted to represent who I was and where I grew up - everyone knows I go to BYU on normal class days, I'm in the freakin' JSB/SWKT/TNRB! At games, on game days, etc. or if you are on a team: definitely wear your BYU gear loud and proud. I think that's mostly why people sport an Oregon hat, UCLA shirt, Alabama hoodie, etc. as they walk around campus on an average day. Just trying to maintain their own identity and resist the "BYU t-shirt tucked into jeans shorts with a braided belt and sandals with socks" that was the epitome of Zoobdome for so many years. This look nearly kept me from going to BYU. Fortunately I still went and found there were plenty of legit dudes who don't dress like they've been living in 1992 for 20 years.
