a team (or 2) in the playoff depending on which games are hosting the semi-finals.

For example in a hear the Rose/Sugar are not hosting the semi-finals if the B1G has 1 team in the playoffs then their next highest ranked team goes to the Rose and if their next highest ranked (#3) is above top SEC available or ND in the rankings and/or they haven't met their required threshold of times selected over 12 years then #3 would go to the Orange if that also was not a semi-final game.

Same goes for the SEC except they are the Sugar/Orange. So imagine a time when 2 SEC teams are selected for the playoffs and the semi-final games are the Fiesta/Peach. Top 2 teams in playoffs, #3 team in Sugar and possibly #4 team in Orange (meeting parameters of course) and who knows if they could also get an at-large as well....

If you were an SEC homer you'd be banking on that scenario happening.
