I think your argument is flawed if you are saying...
...that BYU moved the ball at will in the 1st half and then you believe that they should change what they were doing that worked so well to start the second.

The plan should always be that if you find something that works, keep doing it until the defense changes.

Sure - you can assume that the defense will make adjustments during halftime and that you'll need to respond to those adjustments. But changing before they make you change is over-thinking things. And saying that you should try what was working really well for 1 drive before throwing it out the window assumes that EVERY drive prior to that was a TD as well. (Meaning just because the first drive or 2 of the half didn't work, doesn't mean the game plan won't work. Are mistakes being made? Dropped passes? Or has the defense adjusted? Very different reasons for a drive to fail to score.)

Anyway - it is worth watching and paying attention to, but your memory alone isn't very conclusive.
