In relation to the topic of discipline leading to penalties, BYU is rarely good.

Ironically, our "down years" from 2010-2012 were 3 of our least penalized teams in quite a while. From 06-09 we were usually in the top 15-25 most penalized teams.

Execution is a different matter, but we've never really been disciplined well when it comes to penalties.

Also, there were a ridiculous amount of offsides penalties on kickoffs. Weird.
